Course Overview

Australian College of Business and Training Pty Ltd (AUSCBT) is an approved NSW Fair Trading CPD provider and approved provider of the NSW Fair Trading accredited professional development event for Class 1 licence holders.

This live and interactive professional development event is specifically designed for NSW Class 1 real estate licence holders and satisfies the additional 5-hour accredited event requirement prescribed by NSW Fair Trading.

The program has been developed to provide practical, industry-relevant, and compliance-focused professional development for senior real estate professionals responsible for supervision, leadership, agency management, compliance oversight, and professional standards within the NSW property industry.

NSW Class 1 licence holders are required to complete:

  • the compulsory CPD training applicable to their licence category and area of practice; and
  • an additional minimum 5-hour NSW Fair Trading accredited professional development event each CPD year.

The CPD year runs from 1 July to 30 June.

Important CPD Information

Participants are responsible for ensuring the course is suitable for their licence category, area of practice and CPD requirements.

Completion Evidence

Upon successful completion of the full webinar and assessment activity, participants will receive a record of completion for their CPD records.

Licence holders are required to keep their own CPD records and may be required to provide evidence to NSW Fair Trading.

Entry Requirements

Participants must:

  • Hold a current NSW Class 1 real estate licence
  • Have access to a computer and stable internet connection
  • Be able to access and use Microsoft Teams
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Have a working microphone, speakers, and webcam for participation and identity verification purposes where required

Attendance & Participation Requirements

Participants are required to:

  • Attend the full webinar session
  • Remain actively engaged throughout the training
  • Participate in trainer-led discussions and activities
  • Respond to attendance checks where required
  • Complete the assessment activities during the session

Participants who do not satisfy attendance, participation, or assessment requirements may not be issued with completion evidence.
